Phyllis is a graduate of  Virginia Commonwealth University School of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia where she  studied Painting, Photography, Music, and Film.  Her color photography was chosen for a major exhibition of Virginia artists at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.  She has exhibited photography and paintings at various juried shows throughout North Carolina and Virginia. In 2006 her  painting "Aspire" was featured on Raleigh's Local Access TV "Monday Night Live".

Phyllis' love for the Arts began at a very early age.  As a youth she was awarded and recognized for her drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography. Today she is an accomplished artist with works frequently exhibited in Virginia and the Carolinas. While Phyllis enjoys a successful career as an independent consultant with Eolus Compliance Solutions, she remains most passionate about the Arts.

Ms. Weldon's works consist of color photographs, oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings, pen and ink drawings, commissioned portraits and murals, stained glass installations/window design, and illustrations. After her undergraduate degree she worked as a graphic artist, photographer and illustrator for the Virginia General Assembly. And at the advent of the personal computer, she became the Creative Director at Riddick Communications responsible for computer graphics, PicturePak™, illustrations, and commercial videos for corporate communications. Since that time, she created album and book cover designs, restaurant menus, brochures, logos, stain glass windows, and web pages for various organizations and individuals.  Ms. Weldon enjoys singing blues, jazz, Italian arias and French Art songs and enjoys ballroom and swing dancing in Raleigh, NC. She frequently attends the NC Symphony, NC Opera, and other local concerts. She enjoys swimming laps, walking, cycling and sailing. She periodically travels abroad to expand her horizons, view the great art of the world, experience history, visit sites of ancient mysteries, and takes photographs all over the globe.
